Most of my favorite talks start with an excellent title. I have never been sure if the title drives a good talk, or if the talk thinking gels a good title. Some of both, probably. You have to admit, though, that you’re curious about a talk called “Taylorism Has Entered the ChatGPT” or “Y2k And Other Disappointing Disasters”.
For six months, I’ve been thinking about a newsletter titled Tab Tab Is This Thing On. It’s a bit like Coté’s Wunderkammer. It’s just all the tabs that I read and think are worth sharing with you. I used to do this on Twitter, but, well, you know. It looks like I can host it on Ghost for a reasonable amount, or WordPress, but I think the WordPress solution requires me to remember/learn SMTP. I thought about just posting this content as a blog post, but it’s much more ephemeral/time-bounded than the things I usually write about as posts. I think it really does want to be a newsletter. So!
